I love this series!! This book was exceptionally good. I loved Trevor in every other book he was in, but he took it to a whole other level in this book. And Chassie, oh my, she was so caring and understanding. I swear in the beginning I believe I would have struggled a whole lot more than she did when the truth was revealed. However, the prize she got made me extremely jealous of her. And then there is sweet Edgard, sigh.... Let's just say sign me up for one of those sandwiches with a Jamie inI feel like I should state that I am not a big fan of m/m books. But lately there have been other books where this relationship has come into play and I am surprised by how much I start rooting for this couple. This book, in the end was like that, although at first I was very leery, I really liked Chassie and didn't want her to be the odd man out.In Long Hard Ride I came to really like Trevor and Edghar. I am really torn on this one because while I enjoyed it overall (LJ is one of the best), the premise of this book was just too much for me to believe and I just couldnt find the plot to be plausible... While I normally enjoy the Rough Riders series, I did not like this book. At all. Generally, I prefer my HEA to be between 2 people however I have read some very good menage HEA's that the author has really written well. Those have worked for me.
