The Coppersmith Farmhouse (Jamison Valley #1)
Gigi has just uprooted her whole world to start a new life. The unexpected gift of a farmhouse in small-town Montana is just what she and her daughter need to escape big-city loneliness. The last thing she needs is attitude from the town’s sheriff, the most perfectly attractive and ruggedly handsome man she’s ever laid eyes on—and a complete jerk.
Jess knows all about women like Gigi. Beautiful. Sexy. Scheming. She’s stolen his sanctuary, the farmhouse that should have been his. But along with a face full of freckles, she’s got a sharp wit and a backbone of steel—something he doesn’t discover until after making a complete fool of himself. If he can earn back her trust and win her heart, he might just find the home he’s always needed.
4 stars! The Coppersmith Farmhouse is a book that has been recommended to me multiple times by many friends. Im glad I made the time to read it. It was a great debut novel! It had a strong alpha male, a single mom, it was steamy, sweet, and had an element of suspense. Ill definitely be reading more from this author! Just as a side note, I wish I would have read the book instead of listening to it. There was so much feedback in the audio, you could hear pages flipping, weird noise and squeals
SQUEEE!!! I just read this book by a completely new-to-me author and IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! It was like pure old-school indie romance heaven! The hero is an ALPHA sheriff who is grouchy at times but also incredibly protective, possessive, and SWOOOOOONY! And the heroine is a SINGLE MOM of a gorgeous little daughter who move into his town to start their lives over. MY HEART WAS RACING for so much of the story!! I LOVED these characters. I CARED for them! The romance was HOT, the writing was STRONG,

Picking up a Devney book, you're guaranteed all the good feels, small town charm and grassroots earthiness. They're Soft & romantic, their fragrance lingering long after you've closed the book. On a binge read spree of her back list books, I dived headfirst into Coppersmith Farmhouse and fell head over heels in love with straight as an arrow, and just as sharp sheriff Jess Cleary. Already told you tonight you were beautiful. So since weve got some major fucking chemistry and we get along,
Lots of hype on social media regarding this new debut by Devney Perry. There has also been mention that Perrys writing voice is comparable to Kristen Ashleys. In general, maybe so, but on the whole, not in my opinion. I found it a bit softer with less of the grab factor. (Note: I run hot or cold on Ashley's books, so this was not a significant point in my decision to read this one.) If youre a big fan of small town sexy romances that includes an alpha know-it-all hero and a woman who has
I absolutely loved this book! It had romance and steam with a side of suspence to keep things interesting. I read it on one sitting! Jess and GiGi's were great characters-Jess was alpha to the max. He started out as a major jerk. He made assumptions about the heroine that simply were not true. It didn't take him long to figure out he was wrong and he immediately set out to make things right. His alpha tendencies were OTT but I personally like those caveman antics. He was a take charge kind of

Prepare to be amazed and to swoon over sheriff Cleary. If you read: I opened my mouth to ask what was going on but the words got stuck in the back of my throat. My brain short-circuited. All of my attention was focused on the man standing right in front of me. Seated on my stool, I had to tip my head way back to examine his face. I blinked a few times because this man was so ruggedly handsome I had to be imagining him. ()What catapulted him

I think this book was a great start to a series. I have seen so many reviews of this series come by lately, so of course I had to give it a go myself. I am glad I did, because it was a very nice read ;)What pulled me in most though, was not so much the story, but the writing style. It was very pleasant, and even though there were parts that made me roll my eyes a bit, I could not stop reading. For me that's a sign to keep my eye on this author !Gigi is a single mom to a lovely 4 year old4 stars!
