Relation During Books 1Q84 - Livro 2 (1Q84 #2)
O Livro 1 revelou a existência do mundo de 1Q84. Algumas perguntas encontraram resposta. Details Books In Pursuance Of 1Q84 - Livro 2 (1Q84 #2)

Better the second time around. Maybe all of his books are like that. I just love Murakami.Typical Murakami. You're entertained without knowing what the fuck is going on.

If you havent read book Book 1 and dont wish for the plot to be spoiled then look away now.Book 2 picks up immediately after the end of Book 1. Aomame has been given the mission of killing the Leader, the head of a cult and probable child rapist. It would mean relinquishing her life as she knows it but this doesnt phase her. Our other main character, Tengo, is still caught up with Fuka-Eri and her bizarre story, Air Chrysalis, which is finally revealed to us in all of its weird glory. As with
If you cant understand it without an explanation, you cant understand it with an explanation. This is a quote that pops up a few times in the story something Tengos dad said to him. It is also an adequate way to describe my (apparent) inability to get beyond some kind of cultural difference or meaning loss in translation or (possibly) my own reality.Once again, Murakami gives us 24 chapters, alternating between Aomames and Tengos perspectives and stories. This time around, we are drawn deeper
2.5 "little people" stars !!Book One was 4 stars but Book Two is seriously crashing for me. The main story is still super fascinating but I have 2 HUGE issues with this book and it is growing in intensity.1. The repetitiveness and "spoon-feeding" that Mr. Murakami does is alternately infuriating and mind-numbing. This book needs to be edited down by two-thirds. (I am not exaggerating)2. There is something sordid and gratuitous in the description of abuse of children by grown men. Yeah yeah I get
After reading the first book, my expectations were quite high and I was eager the find out how the action will develop. The story got to a dark but interesting place where everything and nothing is predictable. I loved it!
