Midnight on the Moon is about Jack and Annie who are sent to the moon. Their magic tree house takes them into the future. They are looking for another m in this book. While inside the space room they have to get their suits on and only have a few hours of air in their tanks. While on the moon they travel on a dune buggy and are scared by a spaceman. After they both fall, the spaceman picks them up and they talk to each other but cant hear each other because they are not connected. TheyI enjoyed reading this very easy and quick book. It had an adventurous and surprising twist to it. I liked how Jack always made sure they did what was right; unlike Annie who would just do things without even thinking. Even though I do not remember reading the other books in the series, I could follow the story line and plot. I recommend this book to all readers and especially to young children. Generally I like these books a lot and so do my kids. I do have to point out that the author was incorrect in her description of how gravity works on the moon. The children only feel low gravity while outside the moon base...this is wrong. It's worse that there is an explanation given as to why they feel normal while in the moon base (it is said that the air pressure gives them their normal weight. Not so. They would feel the same 1/6th gravity whether inside (with air) or outside (without air).
Out of all the Magic Tree House books I've read, this is my first one. I just read it when I was young and around last last year, I discoveredit again, read it and just saw how informative it is! And that's when I started reading the whole series. And I never regret that it.
Emerson got scared watching zootopia a few nights ago so we read a few chapters to get his mind off it. Turns out he got up again in middle of night and finished the whole book.
Midnight on the Moon was written by Mary Pope Osborne and is the eighth book in the Magic Tree House series. This fantasy book really takes readers on a fun adventure. The book begins with an explanation of the magic tree house, then the two main characters Annie and Jack travel to the moon in their tree house. Once on the moon the two go on a wild adventure before returning back to their Pennsylvania home. I think that 3rd and 4th graders would especially love this book. Right from the
