This is the first book in the series, they can all be read as a standalone though. I found Camilla has a way that she manages to connect with her readers and her writing is really thought out. In this story we meet Gemma and the chapters switch from her going to her best mate and also her going to her ex. This book left me all warm and fuzzy. It's the perfect mix of young love, new love... regrets and rediscoveries... with an amazing friendship on the side and an incredibly cute rescue kitty... all told in a super original writing format (with 2 parallel stories is like reading Sliding Doors but no one dies of course and there's a happily ever after in both finales)
