Terrifying, but I couldn't put it down. This is my favorite author yet, somehow, I missed this older book. I was surprised by the change in style. His writing has really evolved over the years and I never miss a new book.I've always been a HUGE fan of Stephen King and have read some of the books multiple times... People would advise me to try out Dean Koontz as a replacement and I'd go along with it.... Pick up a Koontz and start reading with this thought at the back of my head....a feeling intactA feeling that I was cheating on KING with his poor cousin. I'd feel guilty and a little ashamed and I'd put the book down and tell people it wasnt very good....Well, I finally read a Koontz all the way through and I
First book I have dnfd in a while the premise seems okay I just cant get into this book at all. Characters feel forced I cant finish this book right now its just not my thing. The writing is very clogged and I just cant do it 175 pages in and it just didnt interest me may come back to but Im not sure.

Koontz is always good for a distraction.
The first time I read a Dean Koontz novel was under his pseudonym, Leigh Nichols, it was many years ago but I remember that it was an excellent spine-tingling, suspenseful book and Winter Moon was no different. Dean Koontz knows how to instil fear in the reader, from the first page of Winter Moon the terror escalates little by little until the last few pages and then BOOM the tension builds faster and faster. I was on tenterhooks from beginning to end. Loved this book. I finished it a few hours
