Meg Cabot is awesome. Just plain ole' freaggin' awesome. She can do no wrong in my eyes!Runaway was a fantastic ending to this series. The secret behind the Stark Enterprises, is so simple, it's brilliant! I couldn't believe that I didn't figure it out sooner!If you've never read Meg Cabot before, I highly recommend that you check her out! If you like something entertaining, funny and not all that serious, anything written by her would be up your alley.As I said above this was a really great2.5 starsIt was okay but I think the 3 year gap between books wasn't good for me.
It's official I can't give more than three star rating to this series but I have got to say this series gets more interesting with each book. "Runaway" is the best book in the series not just because the series ends with this book but because it lacks all those redundant narratives that rendered the previous books less enjoyable. The story is fast paced and the characters less annoying although I can't say the same for Christopher because he is by far one of the most annoying characters that I
I had some doubts going into this with the way book 2 set everything up, but I should know better than to doubt Meg Cabot, because this was a fantastic finale. Everything is brought into a close and while I dont know if we can call it a happy ending, I was very satisfied with the ending all around.I especially love how Cabot is able to write books with female characters who are complex and love makeup and fashion while also being super smart and resourceful. I loved this book. I also have loved the rest of the series. My favorite part is when Em finds out that Stark's investors are bidding on young people's body's to have their brain transplanted into. Basically, they were killing young adults so that the investors could live longer. My least favorite part is when Em got kidnaped by Brandon Stark. My favorite character is Frida.
