Rendition Toward Books Death Note, Vol. 10: Deletion (Death Note #10)

With Near openly suspecting the new L of being Kira and sowing doubt in the hearts of the taskforce members, Light is once again forced to pass the Death Note on to another to take the heat off himself. But this time, Kira chooses a disciple from among his true believers. With no way to contact his successor directly, Light must rely on his faithful follower's adherence to Kira's goals. Will this newest move bring Light's ideal world closer to reality? Or will losing control of the Death Note spell Light's doom?

Judgment Appertaining To Books Death Note, Vol. 10: Deletion (Death Note #10)
Okay, wow. This volume took me a while to get through, it is very dialogue heavy. I mean, in this series, it's nothing new, it just took me a lot longer to get through than I thought it would. To start, I just want to say how much I hate the way Light thinks of women. And, to be honest, the way the women are represented in this series in general isn't great at all. As a woman myself, I hate seeing so many similar female characters and how poor their thinking processes and personalities are. I do

Going through the motions now. There are two more volumes? I'll need another box of cookies to finish them (the sugar might help keep up with the plot twists which are perhaps there for the sake of twists.).

Near, duuuude !!!

The new characters try really hard but they just didn't work for me. However, their qualities are starting to show with this volume.

Gave a couple of month's gap between Vol 9 and Vol 10... and got heavily confused on who was who, and whats actually happening.Re-read vol9 and then Vol 10 was a charm. [Don't ask whether now I know - who is who!]Difficult to rate each volume individually. Overall the series is a 5 star!

The tenth volume of Death Note really brought back the fun, suspense, and all around good stuff of the series for me. In this volume, Light begins to put into motion his new plan for taking down Near, who's gotten a little too close to the truth for Light's taste. Once again he gets someone else to do his dirty work, a fellow by the name of Mikami who's quite the psychopath character, while he tries to prove his innocence. An old, and very unexpected character shows up for a twist I didn't see

2.5 starsKind of entertaining. The plot didn't drag as much and there were some interesting twists and turns with Light and his ex and him manipulating his team into believing his innocence. Was disappointed with all the poor female characters, they were all idiots.
