I loved Ghost and this book was even better than that. I loved that Reynolds wrote a female main character, one who is full of heart and also very complicated and real. On one hand shes trying to fit in at her new school where everyone seems to be wealthy, then shes also trying to be a good big sister and daughter, though they only see their mum on weekends and live with their aunt and uncle. On top of all that she runs track. Shes part of an elite track team and has been picked to be a member

Just as brilliant as the first in this series!

Jason Reynolds is the best. Read everything he has written. That is all.



Even better than Ghost and I loved Ghost. I'm already exciting about the next book in the series. Sunny, perhaps?

strong female protagonist, diverse family and it's about running. I liked Ghost better, but Jason Reynolds is solid.

A book that not only continues the story of the track team but introduces Patina. The character of Patina seems to match the character of Ghost, which I am glad about. Cannot wait for the next one!
