A desperate girl on the run with nowhere to hide... A warrior who has made a vow never to claim a bride... Sophia Waterhouse is being Hunted and the only man who can save her is the one she fears the most...

Sophia Waterhouse has always been afraid of needles and vampires so there’s no way she wants anything to do with a modern day Count Dracula—even if he does come wrapped in the package of a huge Kindred warrior with blond hair and ice blue eyes. She’s only on the Kindred Mothership to participate in her sister Liv’s wedding and that’s all.

Sylvan is a Tranq Kindred who has made a sacred vow never to call a bride. After a devastating rejection on his home planet, his heart is a block of ice no one can melt—or so he thinks until he meets Sophia.

When their ship is forced down in the middle of a rugged mountain range Sophia and Sylvan are stranded. Running for their lives they have only each other to depend on. Will they give in to the intense attraction between them or will the evil hunting Sophia take its toll? You’ll have to read Brides of the Kindred Book 2—Hunted to find out.

Critique Epithetical Books Hunted (Brides of the Kindred #2)

I actually think I enjoyed this book a little bit more than the first one, although I definitely preffered Olivia as a heroine, she was so much stronger. Sophia really started to get on my nerves at times. What I liked so much about this book was the switches in point of view. It gave us a great opportunity to catch up with past characters and meet new ones whilst still enjoying the main love story. It was fantastic. Anyhoo, I just want to say that I absolutely love this cover. Those fangs

2.5 starsRe-readEntertaining, over-the-top, silly and full of romantic cliché. Just what I needed. The only downside was the annoying and whinny heroine.

There is clearly something wrong with me. I didn't like the first book - the characters were flat and uninteresting (even downright annoying), and I didn't think I'd pick up anything else in this series at all. Yet I was intrigued by Sylvan. He seemed to have a little more depth than Baird, and Sophie had a bit of fire in the first book.. it could be an interesting mix!.. it wasn't. Just so you know. Sophie lost any ounce of respectability that she had gained in Book 1. Far from being feisty and

Hunted is book 2 in Anderson's erotic sci-fi series. Having read book 1, I am not sure why I read book 2, except that I was in the mood for the type, the book was cheap, and I really wanted to turn off my brain and not think for awhile, which is a large reason why I read these types of books in the first place. I should have learned my lesson with the first book. This is what I call innocent erotica. It is not my favorite type. The heroine is inexperienced and the final seduction scene nearly

Give it a tryread the first book in this series a couple years ago but didn't like it enough to purchase the second one. I re-read it at the beginning of this year and didn't like it any better. I rarely re-read a book, so it didn't seem fair for me to give it three stars. On a whim, I bought this book anyway, and I enjoyed it waaaay more than the first (which is really closer to a 2 star book). This book still has great erotic scenes, but it also has character development and plot. Maybe it was

3.75 starsSo it looks like I'm in the minority here because I actually liked this book for the most part! There were many things that bothered me (mostly Sophia-related), but surprisingly, they didn't bother me enough to force me to lower my rating. It also helps that I love Sylvan and that this book has many tropes that I love (hellooooo forced proximity and survival romance). I also love that the setting wasn't static like in the first book I loved exploring Tranq Prime.I imagine Sophia's the
