Relation Concering Books Jack Who?: Perfect Storms (Silver Strings G #1)

Marissa is a craps dealer, and in one quick second that she never wants to remember, her life turns to crap. Her best friend convinces her that the cure for a breakup is a hookup, and reluctantly, she heeds this advice.

However, Jack (what was his name again?) is not the average girl's revenge sex.

Jack is a celebrity in his niche of the music world. Women throw themselves at him, toss their lingerie on the stage, and scream his name. Marissa has no idea of his public identity, and while she does not initially throw herself at him, she does go on to toss aside her lingerie and ultimately scream his name.

Five minutes after parting, Marissa holds no illusions about seeing him again, but does vow a new outlook on her life and herself.

Five days later, they exchange a very short text.

Five months later, Jack astounds her with an invitation to Los Angeles. Although Jack is now a star in her very non rock star fantasies, Marissa is concealing a huge secret that prevents her from accepting.

Five years later, the secret comes out and despite the conflicting emotions each feels towards the another, they must meld their two worlds together.

Piece Based On Books Jack Who?: Perfect Storms (Silver Strings G #1)
Super read for anyone young at heart!Wonderful characters and a real sense of adventure captured in this easy read romance. I loved the determination of Marissa not to get caught up in the rock star life style. My only complaint is that I now have to go and buy the rest of the books in this fab series! Completely hooked!

REFRESHING!This was such a refreshing story! I fell hard and fast for Jack. With some of the things he said, you can't help but to love him. "I don't know why l say the shit I do sometimes. I don't know that guy either. Unfortunately, I have to live with his screw ups. I don't want you to be one of those things I screwed up."And:"I'm asking with you want to get married one day. Because I know I want to marry you. But we need to build a relationship. And, your proposal should be spectacular. So

I LOOOVE ROCKSTAR ROMANCES!And this one was really adorable. I only had some issues with the writing and the weird POVs ;)But it was a really interesting, exciting, adorable, moving romance - can't wait to see what Jack and Marissa will have to tell us in the 2nd book!

What i like about this book is that it is real, complete with kid being a kid and a dog to trip over. I LOVE the real dialogue. These two interrupt each others sentences in a fight, they trail off as they are trying to say something but can't find the words. And the same with the scenes. So much like real life. Marissa might be in the middle of a thought and that reminds her of another thought, or the doorbell rings or her son needs to get out of the tub. 5 stars for putting the real in rockstar

I think I can honestly say I have never read a romance novel based around rock stars and I am kicking myself for not doing so sooner. Jack Who was a fantastic read from beginning to end, I loved Marissa and Jack, their story was very heart warming and Tristan was so adorable, I especially enjoyed Jack's scenes with Tristan, they pulled at my heartstrings in a good way. Marissa was a great main character, she had her flaws, especially when it came to Jack Storm, but she learns to deal with her

Oh, where to start with this book. I adore this author anyways, and was excited to delve into her first published work! I was not disappointed. I don't read rock star type romances often, but must confess I secretly love them. This book was curious from the start and I honestly was unsure how I would feel about it. I could not deny that Jack Storm and Marissa Duplei's first steamy encounter in the first chapter pulled me in, but when suddenly a chapter or two later, (and 5 years in story time)
