Situated in a drought stricken land, a small group of people work hard to keep the dreams of their ancestors alive. It's a love story, an adventure story and a view of the people who lived in this era.

Second in the North Americas Forgotten Past series, this book was rich with historical details and interesting people. I enjoyed how the spiritual aspect became a character unto itself.
